<li>NILOA Reports&nbsp;and&nbsp;Occasional Papers -&nbsp;The National Institute for Learning Outcomes Assessment (NILOA) is the single best source for accessible information about developments in the field of assessment. Dozens of occasional papers and reports&nbsp;may be found on their website, all freely available.</li>
<li> - The Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) is an organization which, along with the Department of Education, performs quality control in higher education by recognizing rigorous accrediting organizations (including the Higher Learning Commission). Its institutional membership includes 3,000 degree-granting colleges and universities (including Lindenwood). It advocates for the self-regulation of academic quality, working with Congress and the Department of Education to keep educators (rather than the government) in charge of academic decisions. The presentations, reports, papers, and other documents it publishes are primarily of interest to administrators and campus assessment leaders.</li>
<li>&nbsp;- As the United States' largest advocate for liberal education,&nbsp;the views of the Association of American Colleges &amp; Universities (AAC&amp;U)&nbsp;on&nbsp;assessment&nbsp;should be of particular interest to faculty. It has an enormous body of highly detailed research publications, many related to assessment and&nbsp;free to download.</li>
<li>ETS Research Report Series&nbsp;- The Educational Testing Service (ETS) makes its research on educational measurement public.&nbsp;Its report series&nbsp;is often highly technical.</li>
<li>&nbsp;- Inside Higher Ed (IHE)&nbsp;hosts&nbsp; on a number of topics, including&nbsp;assessment.</li>
