All transactions relating to borrowing materials are handled at the circulation desk including: checking out and returning general circulating and reserve materials, paying fines and charges for overdue/lost items, and renewing/placing holds on items. Students are allowed to checkout a maximum of 30 combined items from Lindenwood, MOBIUS, and ILL. Materials are available to 51¸£ÀûÉç students, faculty, and staff and can be checked out using a 51¸£ÀûÉç I.D. or with any photo I.D. Patrons of MOBIUS institutions may also check out items using their institution's I.D. or another photo I.D. and having their university I.D. number.
If you returned an item to Lindenwood Library and it still appears checked out on your account, please contact Lindenwood Library’s Information Desk at (636) 949-4820 or lucirc@lindenwood.edu immediately. Please double check your belongings and library staff will continue to search for the missing item. If the item is not found and is deemed lost, the borrowing patron will be held responsible for replacement costs and processing fees. Adjustments will be determined as needed.
Once the item is billed, if the item(s) is returned promptly and in good condition, the charges are reduced to an applicable overdue fine(s). However, long-overdue items are periodically withdrawn from the Library’s collection. Once an item is withdrawn from the collection, the item can no longer be returned for credit.
